Our sister project RURALIZATION is proud to invite you to our Final Conference on April 20th at the Committee of the Regions, Brussels.
Within the course of an on-site and virtual meeting with experts and stakeholders, the event will focus on the presentation of lessons learned, best practices and project results that will serve to design and implement policies and activities that facilitate the entry of new generations and newcomers to the rural areas.
RURALIZATION is focused on assessing and developing novel instruments, strategies and policies for rural regeneration and generational renewal. Its particular focus is on rural foresight analysis, the future dreams of rural youth, facilitating rural newcomers, farm succession, new entrants into farming and access to farmland.
After the presentation of project results and outputs, there will be a workshop to discuss rural policies to fulfil rural dreams, followed by a Rural Tales session, where we will invite young farmers and entrepreneurs to share their own stories. For the final session of the conference, we will count on the participation of European Commission’s representatives, researchers and other experts who will discuss how specific European policies may contribute to the long-term vision of the EU’s rural areas and how they can address two key aspects of RURALIZATION: access to land and new generations.
